What the surveys asked, who answered, and what the results can tell us.
Evidence before predictions
Verified local polls will appear here when available. It does not establish a current statewide polling average or predict a winner. Historical surveys and voluntary reader polls are separated below.

How we handle polling
- Show the source, sponsor, field dates and available methods. Missing information stays identified as missing.
- Keep party-preference, named-candidate and issue questions separate. Do not average incompatible populations or methods.
- Label historical matchups and voluntary surveys. A single survey is not a forecast.
- Publish trends only when enough comparable surveys are available. Link the original questionnaire and crosstabs when available.
