Regional guide: Flagship City Commons plans downtown commercial space
The EDDC project combines restaurant, retail, office and rooftop event space near Perry Square.

Flagship City Commons is a mixed-use development described by the Erie Downtown Development Corporation as a connection among several downtown destinations. The site spans West 5th Street and North Park Row, between the Country Fair Flagship Store and the Flagship City Food Hall.
The official project page describes a four-story building with 48,670 square feet. Its commercial plan includes 4,412 square feet for restaurant use, 2,191 square feet for retail or mercantile use and more than 22,500 square feet of offices on the second through fourth floors. A 3,829-square-foot rooftop event area is planned with views toward Perry Square and 5th Street.
EDDC says the Commons is intended to connect Perry Square, the food hall, Country Fair and the 5th Street parking garage and encourage walking between them. The project page provides progress videos and business inquiries. This regional guide describes the published development plan; the page does not supply a publication date or establish a completed opening.
