Pennsylvania says its Business One-Stop Shop online hub has helped 1 million users

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) announced in a Harrisburg press release dated 2026-10-22 that its Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) online Business Hub has surpassed one million users.

DCED described BOSS as providing free guidance to businesses at every stage — from planning and start-up to operating and expanding — and said the hub connects entrepreneurs and companies needing licenses, permits or forms to the appropriate Commonwealth agencies.

The department said BOSS continues to add tools and enhanced resources, including a Business Checklist, streamlined grant capabilities and other improvements to the Business Hub platform.

The DCED release notes BOSS was formed in October 2018 and that the online Business Hub launched approximately one year after the program’s formation.
