PennWest Edinboro's volleyball team has two home PSAC West matches on its weekend schedule, according to the athletics program's October 8 preview. The Fighting Scots are scheduled to face IUP on Friday, October 9, at 6 p.m., then Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday, October 10, at 5 p.m.

The official preview says both matches will be available through the PSAC Digital Network, with live statistics from Edinboro Athletics. These are scheduled competitions, rather than completed results. Readers should use the official program for updates before traveling or tuning in; the announcement does not establish an admission price.

WHY IT MATTERSErieBizToday analysis

Two home fixtures give local fans more than one opportunity to follow Edinboro's college program over the weekend. For families deciding whether to attend, accurate opponents, dates and starting times are more useful than a generic invitation to campus. The streaming option also gives people who cannot travel a way to follow the matches.

The schedule should remain separate from the result. A preview cannot establish who won, and the Friday and Saturday contests need their own reporting as they finish. Any change in timing should come from the official athletics program. Home events can create opportunities for nearby businesses to serve visitors, but this preview supplies no forecast of attendance or spending. Readers should not infer a financial impact or a ticket price. The practical follow-up is confirmation that each fixture took place and a verified account of its outcome.
