Erie’s sports calendar includes local teams, tournament activity and major public venues. The Erie Sports Commission provides regional sports-event information, while the Erie Otters and Erie SeaWolves publish their own team schedules.

Erie Events lists public programs at Erie Insurance Arena, UPMC Park and other operated venues. For a specific game or tournament, verify the date, venue, ticket availability and admission rules on the organizer’s official page. This background article is a set of planning resources, rather than a claim about current attendance or visitor spending.

WHY IT MATTERSErieBizToday analysis

Confirmed sports schedules can help Erie restaurants, hotels and service businesses anticipate when teams, families and spectators may be in town. The Erie Sports Commission supports attracting and hosting events, while teams and venue operators supply the specific dates and locations businesses need for planning. The value is in connecting a named event to an operational decision, such as staffing or opening hours.

An event listing is not an attendance or spending forecast. Reservations, inquiries and organizers' confirmed arrangements provide better evidence of demand than a date alone. Schedule changes and venue details also matter. Businesses can use the linked calendars to identify opportunities, then check the current event information before making commitments based on expected visitor activity.
